Due to the stress of ongoing war and the stalemates associated with it, the United States Department of Defense created a multinational task force along with Canada, Great Britain and other N.A.T.O. countries that is affectionately known as “Joint Task Force Heavy”. Known to have a selection of the best pilots from their respective countries - and who all brandish the distinguishing “HVY” on the tails of their aircraft, the pilots have a huge role to satisfy in world peace.

It was decided by the powers in the Pentagon, that Joint Task Force Heavy would be comprised of eight separate squadrons, who work in unison to assist N.A.T.O. forces around the globe. It would consist of:
(VMA-290) AV-8B Harrier N/A and support crew.
(VMFA-390) F/A-18C Hornet and support crew.
(VFC-119) F/A-18C Hornet and F-14B Tomcat and support crew.
(VF-131) F/A-18C Hornet and support crew.
(472nd Sq) - F-16C Fighting Falcon and support crew.
(484th Sq) A-10C Warthog and support crew.
(48th Attack and Rescue Sq) UH-1H Huey and support crew.
(N.A.T.O. Composite Squadron) AJS37 Viggen, Mirage M-2000, SA342 Gazelle, Su-25T Frogfoot. and support crew.

Additional Resources:
KC-130 Hercules and support crew.
KC-135 Stratotanker and support crew.
E-3B Sentry and support crew.

The move to assemble a small, multinational force was originally viewed by critics as merely an “experiment”, that wouldn’t have any real impact on the war effort. Those who voiced opinions against the task force conceded quickly after word of HVY’s involvement in Operation Phantom-Road was de-classified by the U.S. Government. The impression that was left on the citizens of Ukraine was staggeringly positive, as no civilian casualties were caused directly by the hand of Joint Task Force Heavy forces as reported by ICRC. In addition, using HVY was more cost effective to the taxpayers than using a conventional force that needs more infrastructure to operate.

Today, we are in the midst of a major crisis.

Proverbial dark clouds loom in the deserts of the Middle East. Iran has been targeted in a coup, and their government forces have split into factions, effectively destabilizing the region in a way thought impossible by military analysts.

The Persian Gulf region needs HVY to help restore order.

The Stennis Carrier Group is steaming to the Persian Gulf from the Indian Ocean to bolster N.A.T.O. forces, but Joint Task Force Heavy has been undergoing training at Nellis Air Force Base in the N.T.T.R. when these most recent orders came in. We will meet the Carrier Group after a ferry flight - and they will begin offloading armament for the land based Squadrons. Be prepared to fulfill these orders.
