Following the announcement of orders to leave for the theater of combat, Joint Task Force Heavy has done so in rapid response to deteriorating conditions in the Persian Gulf.

All aircraft and pilots are now on station and are awaiting orders to support ground troops who are also deployed in the region. Maintenance crews are working shifts to maintain over 90% combat readiness.

  • All personnel are ordered to stay on base until Green Zones have been established.
  • All personnel are to have small arms ready in case of attacks on base.
  • Aircraft must be protected at all times on ground.
