The 48th Attack and Rescue Squadron is the backbone of Joint Task Force Heavy. Without the rotary wing, we cannot capture airfields or move supplies to forces when needed. The 48th Attack and Rescue Squadron does this, and more importantly, provides emergency EVAC and Close Air Support to troops on the ground, and downed pilots.

All Joint Task Force Heavy missions contain the CTLD script, which allows helicopters to load troops and carry other much needed vehicles into the war-zone. If a pilot ejects, we need you to rescue them!
